COMPACT SHIPYARD

The concept of Compact Shipyard was proposed when an international shipbuilding company wanted to move their operation from Middle East to Malaysia. The traditional open yard concept was not in-favor by the land owner as the site is within the port limit that comprises of port terminal, container yard and industrial & commercial free zone which emphasis on green and clean environment. The designated site for the compact shipyard is on an approximately 30 acres land. The total investment cost is USD120 million which takes 2-3 years to complete.
